The truth is that I didn’t do it on purpose because I wanted the numbers out. The numbers don’t bother me and I wouldn’t mind having them there. But what I did was when I installed the My Favorite Blogs widget in my second collum, everything else that was there from before, like the categories, disappeared. I went back to the widgets page and saw that there were widgets for categories and the other things that I wanted, so I enabled them. That is what you are seeing, the category widget enabled from the widget page.

Before you do it, double check with the big boys regarding SEO considerations. It is known that Google cannot read widgets, so in order to get your numbers out you might be doing yourself a disservice. Please let me know if you find out anything of significance.

Regarding your compliment, who was it that said to Frodo, “The praise of the praiseworthy is above all rewards”? I see that you are doing a great job yourself in developing your blog. Keep up the good work, and thank you for the post on stats.
